Con una puntuación de 14 puntos de 15 posibles, la obtención del Sello supone la inclusión de las Islas en la Red europea de centros de innovación digital, con la que la Comisión europea impulsará las políticas de vanguardia en el sector.
CIDIHUB, la puerta europea hacia la innovación digital
En la presentación de este logro del CIDIHUB del pasado 5 de julio se organizaron tres mesas de trabajo, con el fin de exponer y coordinar actuaciones conjuntas.
En la primera mesa ‘Digital Innovation Hubs como mecanismo de convergencia con Europa’ se revisaron las políticas públicas de innovación a nivel europeo, nacional y canario de cara a entender qué es, cómo opera y cómo se enmarca un DIH (Centro de Innovación Digital) dentro del ecosistema de innovación actual, de cara a facilitar la innovación digital en un territorio en conexión con el entorno europeo.
La segunda, ‘Retos de Innovación digital en Canarias’, donde Canarias Excelencia Tecnológica participó, identificó y valoró cuáles son los retos reales que plantea la innovación digital en Canarias, y las necesidades reales de las empresas y la sociedad canaria en términos de digitalización.
Por último, en la mesa ‘Capacidades avanzadas y complementarias en CIDIHUB’ se detalló cuáles son las capacidades, las herramientas y las tecnologías que aporta el CIDIHUB a la economía y la empresa canaria, concretamente la consolidación del ecosistema innovador regional, formación especializada, financiación público-privada, y desarrollo, experimentación y validación de tecnologías digitales.
La presentación finalizó con la intervención del director de la Agencia Canaria de Investigación, Innovación y Sociedad de la Información, Carlos Navarro, que expuso las principales conclusiones durante el encuentro.
