The BestAI project assumes that by aligning with labour market needs, VET can significantly contribute to developing and adapting the social economy entities to the context of twin transition. With its close proximity to both work and education, VET has the potential to empower individuals of all ages to navigate societal changes effectively, fostering smart, green and inclusive growth. 

Hence, the main aim of the BestAI project is to develop a comprehensive training package aimed at exploring the potential of AI technologies for social entrepreneurship and thus boosting the capacity for social innovations in Europe and supporting VET educators in building high-value digital, green and transversal skills.

Project Objectives

BestAI aims to develop training aimed at exploring the potential of AI for social entrepreneurship and thus boosting the capacity for social innovations in Europe and supporting VET educators in building high-value digital, green & transversal skills. 

The specific objectives are: 

SO1: Empowering social entrepreneurs to effectively utilise AI tools in establishing and managing their social businesses, thereby fostering innovation and social impact. 

SO2: Promoting interactive challenge-based learning to cultivate VET learners’ and social entrepreneurs’ digital, green, and transversal skills, thus increasing the attractiveness of VET and fostering social innovation in Europe. 

SO3: Equipping VET trainers with comprehensive knowledge, tools, and resources to facilitate the development of digital, green, and transversal skills among learners. 

SO4: Facilitating collaboration between VET, tech and social partners with regards to developing new educational offers focused on social entrepreneurship in line with the labour market needs. 

Expected results

BestAI stipulates the following results: 

  • BestAI Empowerment Toolkit for Social Entrepreneurs. 
  • BestAI Guidelines for VET providers. 
  • BestAI Empowerment Blueprint.  
Project consortium 

The partnership consists of 5 organisations from 5 EU countries as follows: Acta Foundation (Bulgaria), CET. Clúster Canarias Excelencia Tecnológica (Spain), ETE Faros (Cyprus), Tree Agency OU (Estonia), Enaip Veneto Impresa Sociale (Italy).
